Elder, Kathleen, of House Springs, Missouri, was born September 29, 1945, in Belleville, Illinois to Leroy and Florence (nee Wietzel) Hacker and entered into rest Tuesday, January 15th, 2019 in Saint Louis, Missouri at the age of 73 years, 3 months and 17 days. She is preceded in death by, her parents, and her brother Ronald Hacker, She is survived by, Her husband, Paul Elder, Three (3) children, Michael (Gloria) Elder of Willard MO. , Jason Elder of Dittmer, MO.

, Jennifer (Zach) Daugherty of DeSoto MO. , Six (6) Grandchildren, Michael, Josh, Kyrsten, Jayden, Jacob, Hailey Two (2) Step Grandchildren, Veronica (Robert), Dani (Corey) Five(5) Great Grandchildren, One (1) Sister, Deborah (Dale) Braun, of Freeburg IL. , Along with many family and friends.

Kathy was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, bowling, fishing and hunting. Some of her passions were driving a school bus.

She even competed in the National Bus Rodeo Competition and was crowned National Champion three years in a row. She spent many years baking and decorating wedding cakes. She participated in the farmers market “Kathy’s Kitchen” and made her own wine.

She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Sunday January 20th 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Service Monday January 21, 2019 10:00 a.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri with the interment to follow.
