Kathleen Mary McClure, 68, of Salem, AL passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Columbus Hospice in Columbus, GA. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm EDT on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel (Vance Brooks Funeral Home) in Phenix City. A private committal will follow at Newsome Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. McClure was born August 12, 1949 in Boston, MA to the late Paul Michael Foley, Sr. and Patricia Rose Reynolds Foley. She had worked with the Russell County Mental Health Center with 20 years of service.

She enjoyed Blue-Grass music and camping, tending to all her hummingbirds and the seasonable joy they brought, and spending quality time with all her family. She was a Catholic by faith. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Jean Foley, and a precious grandson, Kaleb McClure.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Kenneth “Kenny” McClure, children, Margaret Adams and husband Drew, Lisa Tadlock, Joseph McClure, Bonny Howell and husband Dave, Karl McClure, and Alan McClure and wife Donna, one sister, Patricia Anne Foley, four brothers, Paul Foley, Matthew Foley and wife Pam, Mark Foley, and Little Matt; (5) grandchildren, Zachary Tadlock, Matthew Woodsworth and wife Michelle, Gabrielle McClure, Taylor Eaton, and Erin Howell, (5) great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, numerous extended family members, and many caring friends.
