Graveside service for Kathleen Trout will be 10:00 am Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Owalla Cemetery. Visitation will be at MMS-Payne Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 21 from 1-8 pm, with family greeting friends from 6-8 pm. Kathleen passed away at her home in Claremore on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.

She was 93 years old. Kathleen was born in Niagra Falls, NY on January 23, 1926, the daughter of Leon Arthur Douglas and Amy Cecil (Howse) Douglas. After graduating from high school in 1944, she attended Traphagen School of Fashion in New York City.

She eventually married Ralph Elmer Trout, and became a devoted homemaker. She loved to sew, and was a member of various groups in the Claremore area, including Extension Homemakers, TOPS, and Quilt Guild. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ralph; and two siblings.

Survivors include her children Michael Trout and wife LuAnn, Carrie Sloan and husband Jeff, Philip Trout, Heidi Mozingo; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy Douglas.
