KATHRYN “KAY” THEIS Of Apollo, age 97 on Friday June 29, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Daniel E. Theis. Dear mother of Jeffrey (Adella) Theis of New Kensington, Mabel Theis of Apollo, Doris Stripling, and the late Daniel Theis, Jr. Grandmother of Four.

Great Grandmother of Seven. Sister of Sara Deemer of Apollo, Lillian Rupp of Erie, and Jack Guenther of Florida, and the late Herb Guenther, Dave Guenther, Tom Guenther, Deannie Wiles, and Doris Zetts. Kay was an avid Pittsburgh Penguin Fan.

She enjoyed jigsaw and word puzzles, gardening and planting flowers, and was a bird watcher. Family and friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. MONDAY ONLY at FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME, INC. , Robert P. Karish, Spvr.

, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068 where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, 533 Linden Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15068.
