Obituary for Kathy Laverda Stubblefield Kathy Laverda Sanderson Stubblefield Loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away at her home surrounded by her family on July 12, 2018 after fighting a courageous battle of cancer. Kathy was born on October 12, 1952 in Payson, Utah to Effie Laverda Jensen and Verl Sanderson. She married the love of her life James Allen Stubblefield on November 17, 1972 in the Provo Utah temple.

Kathy is survived by her five boys Jason (Michelle), Jared (Marci), James, Jeffery, JD (Andrea), 17 grandchildren, and4 great grandchildren. Siblings Delray (Patti) Sanderson, Joel (Jeanette) Sanderson, and Lorraine Lawrence. She is proceeded in death her husband, mother, father, brother, and her daughter Jennifer.

Kathy was a great wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her life. She was a great cook, liked crocheting, camping, crossword puzzles, enjoyed spending time with her friends and was always there for anyone in need.

She worked for the Provo School District retiring after 28 years. We will love and miss you. “Love you more” Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Santaquin Utah Stake Center located at 90 South 200 East, Santaquin, Utah.
