Keith William Farnum, 68, died Friday morning December 28, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Neenah on June 27, 1950, son of the late William and Jeanne (Leddy) Farnum. Keith married Mary Jo (Welsh) on April 20, 1990.

Keith served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a talented musician, known as “Finger’s Farnum”. He picked up a bass guitar when he was 14 years old, and was self taught by listening to The Beatles.

Keith played in many local bands including Dancer, Big Bada Boom, and Max Jones Blues Band. He traveled for his music as far as London, England. Keith even had the opportunity to sit in with Molly Hatchet and The Jeff Healey Band.

Keith had a huge heart when it came to helping others, and he was able to use his musical talent to set up and coordinate benefit concerts for those in need. Keith did enjoy having lunch with his friends and band mates at the Cozy Corner Café, was an avid Packer fan, and loved spending time with his family. Keith is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Mary; two daughters: Briana (fiancée Mally Engel) and Sarah Farnum; and son Dwight Mueller; two grandsons: Holden Mueller and Elijah Farnum; two brothers: Randall “Ran” (Barbara) and Daniel; and many nieces and nephews.

He was further preceded in death by his sister Dorothy; and sister in-law Carol Farnum. Memorial service for Keith will be 12:00 PM (noon) on Saturday January 5, 2019 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday morning beginning at 10:00 AM, until the 12:00 PM service.

“Finger’s Farnum could talk to anyone. And once you knew him, you became his friend. His generosity toward helping others and his huge heart will be missed, and never forgotten”.
