Funeral services for Kelly Kenny, 54, of Norfolk will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Ave. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Home for Funerals Chapel, with a rosary at 7. Kelly died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his home.

Kelly was born April 1, 1964, to Keith and LaVern (Gansebom) Kenny, in Norfolk. He attended Norfolk Public Schools and Graduated from Norfolk Senior High in 1982. Kelly joined the United States Air Force and served from June 1, 1983 to his honorable discharge on December 11, 1990.

Kelly married Charissa Carner in Norfolk, in 1996, they later divorced. Kelly worked at the Liberty Center for 15 years and was currently a Security Specialist at the Norfolk Regional Center, where he had worked for many years. Kelly enjoyed golfing, camping, gardening and playing sports.

Kelly is survived by his son, Alexander, serving in the United States Air Force, currently stationed in Florida, his brothers, Kevin and Rose Kenny of Norfolk, Kory and Lameice Kenny of Findlay, Ohio, his sisters, Karla Knight and Kristi and Jay Kortje both of Norfolk. He was preceded in death by his parents. In Lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
