Arndt, 89, Lake Mills, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019, at the Aurora Medical Center in Summit. He was born on July 25, 1929 in Milwaukee, the son of the late William and Margarette (Schmidt) Arndt. Ken moved to Germany in 1932 and returned to the United States and Lake Mills in 1946.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and then re-enlisted until August 1959. Ken was married to the former Virginia Elizabeth Hahn. He was a member of the Clarence Bean-Warren George Lake Mills American Legion Post #67.

Survivors include his companion for over 30 years, Virginia Arndt; son, Timothy (Brenda) Arndt of Columbus; daughter, Tamera (Joe) Seidel of Jefferson; 6 grandchildren, Tiffany and Aaron Seidel, Courtney (Ronin) Reath, Nicholas and Katrina Arndt and Tasha Ruiz; sister, Ruth Kovalaske of Lake Mills; nephew, Daniel Kovalaske; other relatives and friends. Also preceding in death was a sister, Myrtle Arndt. Following his wishes, there will be no formal services.
