Carterville Kenneth Duane Morford, 71, of Carterville and formerly of Danville, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 in Danville National Cemetery in Danville, Illinois, with military rites by V.F.W. Post 210. Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville is assisting with cremation services.

Kenneth was born on February 14, 1947, in Danville, to Louis Henry and Marjorie Ione (Sowers) Morford. He is survived by his son, Christopher (Susan) Morford of Troy; grandson, Tanner Morford; sisters, Phyllis and Marla. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam where he was awarded a Bronze Star.
