Kenneth C. Grammer died peacefully at Carle Foundation Hospital in Hospice Care on Monday, February 25, 2019 in Urbana, Illinois at the age of 78. Ken is survived by his wife, Delores Grammer of Mahomet; son, Bob (Amy) Grammer of Center Valley, PA, granddaughters Allison (Paul) Marino, Molly Grammer and Jillian Grammer of Westchester, PA, daughter, Cindy (Joe) Es of Mahomet, granddaughters Megan and Olivia Es. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Helen (Dubson) Grammer.

Ken was born on August 26, 1940, in Anna-Jonesboro and moved to Mahomet in his elementary years. He graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School in 1958. Ken married Delores (Bowman) in 1964 in Farmer City.

He drove semi-truck for 32 years as a Teamster, after retirement he had to keep driving and joined the Mahomet-Seymour Schools Transportation team where he drove the past 15 years. There will be a visitation on Saturday, March 2 from 10am-12pm at Grace Church, 800 West Oak, Mahomet. The funeral service will begin at 12:00pm at the church with Pastor Mike Case officiating.

. Graveside service will immediately follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign with a reception to follow at Grace. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ken’s life.
