Obituary for Kenneth “Grizz” Grizzle Kenneth “Grizz” Edward Grizzle, 54 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Grizz was born Wednesday, October 23, 1963 in Cookeville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Charles Grizzle and Maria (Libed) Grizzle. Grizz graduated from Upperman High School in 1982 and then enlisted in the United States Air Force where he completed the Fire Protection Specialist Course which allowed him to serve as a fire fighter.

After his Air Force service, he attended trade school for Union Carbide at the Y-12 Oakridge Plant where he learned to be a Pipefitter. He also attended Florida Community College in Jacksonville, where he recieved his Postsecondary Training Certificate in Business Software Applications. He later went on to be a Combination Welder which he received his training from the State Area Vocational-Technical School in Livingston, Tennessee.

Grizz is survived by: Mother: Maria Tresa (Libed) Grizzle of Cookeville, TN and formerly of San Juan, Puerto Rico 2 Brothers: Glenn Grizzle of Knoxville, Tennessee John Grizzle of Cookeville, TN Niece: Tia Johnson of Cookeville, Tennessee Grizz was preceded in death by his father. Funeral Services for Kenneth Edward Grizzle will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 10 , 2018 from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with full military honors. Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018 and Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 1:00 pm until time of services at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
