Obituary for Kenneth “Skinny” E. Shane Kenneth E. Shane “Skinny”, 52, of Sterling, died Sunday, June 24, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster. He was born April 15, 1966 in Wooster to Charles and Kathleen (Winkler) Shane and was a life resident of Sterling. Ken was a graduate of Norwayne High School and was a self-employed farmer and worked for Landmark for several years.

He loved having family cook outs, hunting, fishing and attending gun shows and tractor pulls. Surviving are his parents; Charles and Kathleen Shane; sons, Jeffery Shane of Wooster and Casey Shane of Sterling; daughter, Becca Anderson of Wooster; 15 grandchildren; sister, Chris Shane of Smithville; special companion of 12 years, Jackie Adams of Sterling; step children, Amber Ady of Creston, Laura Adams of Orrville, Tyler Adams of Wooster and Jerry Adams of Sterling. Services will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman with Pastor Mike Lycans officiating.

Burial will follow at the Apostolic Cemetery in Rittman. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the funeral home. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Kenneth “Skinny” E. Shane please visit our Sympathy Store.
