Obituary of Kenneth Elmore Kenneth Claude Elmore, age 75, of Mt. Gilead, died Monday, December 3, 2018 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Mr. Elmore was born November 14, 1943 in High Point, NC the son of the late Claude Willis Elmore and the late Iva Cecil Elmore.

Mr. Elmore was a Librarian with the Community College System. He was a loving husband, very outgoing, loving and likeable. He was very scholarly and enjoyed reading.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Louise Elmore and one daughter: Laura Hyde and husband Tom of Albemarle, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 10:00 – 10:45 AM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. The funeral will follow in the Pugh-Troy Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM with the Very Reverent Father Peter Fitzgibbons VF officiating.

Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery, 1730 W. English Rd. High Point, NC 27262. On-line condolences may be made at www.
