Obituary for Kenny Lynn On June 19th, 2018, Kenny Lynn, 62 of Loveland, CO went home to God. After a courageous fight with cancer, he passed away peacefully in his sleep at the home he shared with his wife of 27 years, Penny Lynn. He was born to Ray and Roberta (Seela) Lynn on April 22, 1956.
Kenny was raised in the Weld County area, but also resided in California as a child. He graduated from Greeley West High School in 1974. After graduation, he served his country by joining the Army.
He was honorably discharged in 1978. In 1979, Kenny began a nearly 30 career with Deep Rock Water, starting as a delivery driver in Fort Lupton, ending as the manager of a distribution center in Colorado Springs. After his career with Deep Rock, Kenny was self-employed in the flooring industry for almost ten years.
On May 18, 1991, Kenny married the love of his life, Penny (Gettman), at Grace Lutheran Church in Hudson, CO. Kenny was also a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, CO. Kenny was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing in the Colorado mountains.
As a native Coloradan, Kenny was also passionate about the Broncos and Rockies. Kenny is survived by his wife Penny Lynn; mother Roberta Lynn of Tucson, AZ; children Kenny (Janell) Corrigan of Wellington, CO; Natalie (Dave) Foster of Virginia Beach, VA; Sheena (Bethany) Lynn of Livingston, MT; brother Bruce (Danette) Lynn of Loveland, CO; sister Lori Nunes of Tucson, AZ; Karen (Roger) Quenan of Tucson, AZ; fur babies, Cooper and Marvin; 10 grandchildren and 3 grand-fur babies. He is preceded in death by his father Raymond and grandparents Seela and Lynn.
Funeral Service will be held at Allnutt Funeral Service in Loveland on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00am. Visitation Friday, June 22 from 4-7pm. The family asks that you come wearing your favorite Broncos apparel.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been set up at ENT credit union. Donations can be made at any ENT location. A portion of the funds will go to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital for cancer research.
