Kent G. Orwig, 61, of Duboistown, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 21, 2018 at his home. Born October 4, 1957, in Williamsport, he was a son of Mary (Chadderdon) Orwig, of Duboistown. Kent was a 1975 graduate of Williamsport High School.

Following his graduation Kent joined the United States Army and was honorably discharged after 8 years of service as a Sargent. He was a member of the VFW Post 7653, Duboistown. Surviving in addition to his mother are his three brothers, Eric Orwig, of Montoursville, Kurt Orwig, of Gainesville, FL, and Karl Orwig, of Greentown.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Orwig and a sister, Gloria Hudson. Memorial contributions may be made in Kent’s name to the VFW Duboistown Post #7863, 150 Shaffer Street, Williamsport, PA 17702.
