Obituary for Kerri Rae Turpin It is with great sadness that the family of Kerri Turpin announces her passing, after a long battle with cancer, on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the age of 47. Kerri will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Joeanna Roberts; her brother, Randall Turpin; her children, Kiersten and Kason; and two grandchildren, Zaeden and Ka’Velle Jackson. Kerri is preceded in death by her father, Lynn Turpin.

Kerri was born in Midland, Texas. She grew up in Grapevine, Texas and graduated from Grapevine High School. Kerri was a caring soul who was a stranger to no one.

She has many friends, both young and old, that care for her very much. Through a battle with cancer that lasted over a decade, Kerri never once complained about her condition. She always wore a smile on her face and embraced life every single day with a positive attitude.

Although she had terminal cancer, Kerri will forever be remembered as a person that enjoyed the simple things that life ha to offer and was happiest being herself. A Memorial Service for Kerri will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00pm at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall Street, Grapevine, Texas 76051.
