Kevin James Widdison June 15, 1962 ~ February 17, 2019 Kevin came into this world on June 15, 1962. On February 17, 2019 he passed away at home surrounded by his loving wife and family. Kevin was born to adoring parents, Reva Searle (Mayfield) Beazer (deceased) and James (Jim) Hobbs Widdison.

He was also greatly loved by stepparents MaryAnn Widdison and William (Bill) Mayfield. Kevin grew up in Roy, graduating from Roy High in 1980. He loved sports, playing baseball, basketball and running track.

He enjoyed watching sports on TV and occasionally placing a bet when in Wendover or Las Vegas. Kevin was always a hard worker. He owned and operated his own concrete business for many years.

Even in his illness, he wanted to be working. He married Cindy Child in 1983. They had two beautiful children, Zack Widdison and Tara Rutherford (Chance).

In 1992, he married Kristen Bess. They were blessed with Dylan Widdison (Abigail) and a beautiful daughter Britney Alire (Stephen). Kevin reunited with the love of his life, Brenda Mays.

They married on 11/26/2013. That great love extended to his stepchildren, Sascha Scherer (Brad) and Tyson Smith. Together they had Trevor Widdison (Kiasa).

Kevin loved his family with all of his heart. He had ten precious grandchildren, Cash, Blake, Jett, Mila, Greyson, Harlee, Alexys, Jaicee, Cruz and Raimi. Seven siblings, Wm.

Jed Mayfield (deceased) (Kelly), Karen Widdison (Jones) Ashby, Kami Mayfield Beus, Angela Mayfield Saunders (Mark), Wayne Todd Mayfield, Lisa Mayfield (Vic) and Sheila Tice. Many nieces and nephews that he adored. Kevin was predeceased by his mother, Reva Searle (Mayfield) Beazer, his elder stepbrother Wm.

Jed Mayfield, his nephew Cameron Burke Tice, his grandparents, Ira and Stella Searle and Howard and Lorell Widdison. After a long battle with cancer, Kevin ultimately passed from hemochromatosis. The family wishes to thank Hearts for Hospice & Home Health, specifically Jazman, Toby, Brent and Abby.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Thursday, February 21st from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Hooper Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations for the family can be made to the Kevin Widdison Charitable account at any America First Credit Union.
