Kurt Degenhardt, 60, of Kansas City, MO died suddenly on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. He was born October 13, 1957, in Smithville, MO to the late Paul Degenhardt and Rebecca Degenhardt Phillips. Kurt was the loving husband of Shannon, beloved dad of Alex and his finance Elizabeth, Jeff, Courtney and Nicholas; beloved grandpa of London and the soon to be born Layla.

He was a dear brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was a selfless man with the gift of gab and a good sense of humor. The only thing he loved more than business was his family.

His love of entrepreneurship and helping people; lead to he and his son Alex to start Family Motors KC; in the past he developed real estate, organized boat races and worked in banking. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018, from 12-2 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Funeral service will follow visitation at 2 PM at the funeral home.

Interment at Terrace Park Cemetery.
