Larry Carl Tiedt, age 62, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 after a lengthy illness at LifeCare Hospital of Wisconsin in Pewaukee surrounded by his family. Larry was born on December 8, 1955 in Corona, California, the son of Carleton and Lois Jean (Snell) Tiedt. He enjoyed his Harley, fire trucks, racing cars, Nascar and tinkering in his garage, but most of all spending time with his family and was a good friend to everyone.

Larry is survived by his wife, Deb, daughter, Crystal (Aaron) Krenke, two grandchildren, Devon and Mason, two step-children, Nicole Stachowicz and Kimberly LeTourneau, two step-grandchildren, Gaige and Logan, his parents, a brother, Jeff (Jennice) Tiedt, and a sister, Connie (Timothy) Dontje and by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Valley Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Huff officiating.

Larry’s family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established. A special thank you to my sister Connie, for the gift of the last five years through her donation of stem cells.

Also a special thank you to the compassionate and caring staff at LifeCare Hospital, Nurse Paula, and Dr. Hari and his staff at Froedtert Hospital. “We Got This,” Dad! Love You!
