Corey Anthony “Sparkplug” Reed, 23 of Kimberly Wisconsin, was set free at St. Elizabeth on November 25, 2018. Corey was born on February 22, 1995 in Wisconsin Rapids. Beloved son of Todd of Janesville, and Lori (Bunker) Reed of Kimberly.

He was a grandson of Thomas, Linda Lou Bunker, Bonnie Ahlert, and Tom Reed. He was a brother to Nathan (Anna), Emily, Tyler, and Azzy Lee (foster brother). An uncle to Ryan and Gracie.

Corey graduated from Kimberly High School in 2014. Corey’s main accomplishments were becoming an eagle scout, wheelchair bowling, shooting the big buck, and he was a devoted member of a local motorcycle club. Corey was involved with the Kimberly High School Car Club, had a great love for camping and attended many MDA camps.

He was a dedicated advocate for Muscular Dystrophy. He had a special love for animals, nature and Harley Davidsons. He will always be remembered for his sarcasm and his caring nature for everyone.

His family would like to send out a special thanks to: his at home caregivers, St Elizabeth’s’ ICU team, his many doctors and specialist through Ascension, and Children’s hospital of Milwaukee. He was loved and has touched so many hearts, and will never be forgotten. He will live on through others with his organ donations.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Valley Funeral Home 2211 N. Richmond Street Appleton, WI 54911 from 11am-3pm service will be held promptly at 3pm with Pastor Josh “Fuel” Hron officiating.
