Tom Welsch passed away at home on Monday, November 19th after a three-year fight with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). Tom was born in Appleton to Herbert and Arlene (Risse) Welsch. He graduated from Appleton High School (West) in 1963 and spent almost his entire working career in the printing industry.

He worked at Elm Tree Bakery, Lawrence University, Rapid Printing and retired from Kimberly Clark. Tom is survived by his wife, Barb (Roemer); brother, Charles (Susan) Welsch; sister, Lyndy (Bruce) Ramella; brother-in-law, Robert (Irene Terry) Roemer; sister-in-law, Ann Roemer; two nieces, Kelly Roemer and Kristy Ramella and nephew, Andrew (Ulla) Roemer. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws Bob and Florence Roemer; Barb’s sister, Peg Austin; brother-in-law, Stuart Allen and nephew, Richard Welsch.

No formal services will be held at this time. Please celebrate his life in your own way. If so desired, memorials in his name can be sent to Fox Valley Humane Society, N115 Two Mile Road, Appleton, WI 54914.

This is where Tom got two of his favorite cats that brought him so much joy. Thank you to ThedaCare at Home Hospice, especially Christina and Katielee, Home Instead caregivers Doreen and Molly, best friends and neighbors, Kathy, Sheryl, Pam, Mary S. and many others too numerous to mention.
