OBITUARY Larry Everett Hilligoss February 2, 1949 – July 22, 2018 Larry Everett Hilligoss, 69, passed away peacefully on July 22nd, 2018, with family by his side. Larry was born to Everett and Ercie Hilligoss on February 2nd,1949 in Kokomo. Larry was a Northwestern High School graduate, class of 1967.

Larry worked at Cuneo Press for several years. He then worked in the trucking industry and went on to retire from Steel Parts in Tipton after 28 years. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and grandkids, who he loved very much.

He gathered with his retiree friends from Steel Parts monthly. Larry had 2 dogs, Lizzie and Gracie, that he adored. He loved to make people laugh, especially his friend, Cody.

Larry will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Larry is survived by former spouse of 31 years and best friend, Jeannie Hilligoss; stepdaughter Renee (Wes) Chandler; stepsons Jimmy (Heather) Simpson and David (Lynda) Simpson; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Don (Ronnie) Hilligoss; 1st cousins Lavon Fulford and Willie Olson; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Larry is preceded in passing by his parents; son Jeff; brother Jim Hilligoss and his wife, Linda.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 28th at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. Larry will be laid to rest at Normanda Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to American Diabetes Association or the Kokomo Humane Society.
