Obituary for Larry J Burnitt Larry James Burnitt, 64, a resident of Longville, LA passed from this life on October 17, 2018 in the comfort of his home. Larry was a loving husband, son, and brother. He was very family oriented.

He was a truck driver by trade and was formerly a Baptist Minister. He possessed a very loving and giving nature. He was known for maintaining the neighbor’s yards.

In his spare time, he loved ridding his motorcycles and participating in poker runs. He was also very proud to be a cancer survivor. He is predeceased by his parents, Vester James Burnitt and Ivy Marie Shirley, and sisters, Loretta Dianne Yancey and Marsha Gay Martin.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Carolyn Lyons Burnitt, sons; Daniel Burnitt of Kinder, Lee Burnitt of Lake Charles, Chris Dell’Imagine of Deridder, grandchildren, Aiden Burnitt, and Justin and Austin Dell’Imagine sisters, Jolene Doyle, Katherine Bushnell, Margretta Rougeou, Syvella Ann Jackson, LaBreeska Joyce Hall, and one brother, Clarence Silas Shirley.
