Larry’s Obituary Larry Taylor, 74, of Morgantown, passed away February 2, 2019, at JW Rudy Memorial Hospital. The son of the late Everett and Martha Taylor, he was born July 27, 1944, in Morgantown. Larry was a retired coal miner and most will remember him for being a big jokester.

He was a family man and will be deeply missed by his many friends and family. Larry is survived by his wife, Mary Taylor; a son, Larry Taylor, Jr.; two grandchildren: Gracie Taylor and Wyatt Taylor; his siblings: Billy Taylor, George Taylor, Everett Taylor, Joyce Franklin, and Glenna Sheets; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Taylor; his grandson, Zackery Taylor; a granddaughter, Haylee Taylor; and his siblings: Glenn Taylor, David Taylor, James Taylor, Mary Taylor, and Joan Taylor.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Friday, February 8, 2019, from 5 PM until the 7 PM funeral service with Pastor Rose Saunders officiating. A private entombment will take place at a later date.
