Michael’s Obituary Michael Allen ‘Sleepy’ Hamrick, 56, of Morgantown went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at UPMC Mercy Hospital following a brief illness. He was the son of Barbara F. Hamrick and long-time companion Charles Caldwell of Morgantown. In addition to his mother Barbara Hamrick, Michael is survived by one daughter, Heather Hamrick and step-son, Drew Watson; brother Randy Hamrick; one nephew and two nieces; life-long friends Jim and Patty Ralston and their children Tiffany and James; ex-wife Barbara A. Hamrick and family friend Cindy Stone.

Michael was a truck driver for over 30 years. He also loved to go camping at Big Bear Lake with his close friend Andy. He also enjoyed going to the races.

He was preceded in death by his father Clyde E. Hamrick. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 2pm until 6pm and again on Monday from 11am until time of services at 12 noon. Burial will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery, Rivesville, WV.
