Lavelle’s Obituary Lavelle Bonds, age 90, of Blevins, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Texarkana, Texas. He was born February 12, 1928 in Blevins, Arkansas to Sanford Dee and Inez Honea Bonds. Mr. Bonds was a member of Marlbrook Baptist Church and a Navy Veteran who loved to fish.

He was the first employee of Corn Belt Hatchery of Hope and a longtime member of the Blevins School Board. Lavelle always showed his love for others with deeds not words. He is preceded in death by his mother and father; first wife of 49 years, Genetha Mouser Bonds; sister, Lucille and husband Hudson Avery; great niece, Brooke Howard.

Lavelle is survived by his wife Rebecca Fielden Bonds of Blevins; one son, Donald Bonds of Blevins; one daughter, Peggy Butler and husband David of Blevins; sister, Mary Beth Stallsworth and husband John; grandchildren, Erica Hudson & David, Stephanie Grant & Drew, Michael Bonds, Chris Butler & Erica, Chad Butler & Heather and Cody Butler; great grandchildren, Oakley & Mason Grant, Apple Bonds, Ellie & Edie Hudson and Wesley Butler; nieces, Layla Hartness, Stephanie Cormack, Lori Valencia, Glenna Bennett, Debbie Howard and Darla Harris. Funeral Service will be 10:00am Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Marlbrook Baptist Church in Blevins, with interment to follow in Marlbrook Cemetery. Bro.

Jerry Hill will be officiating under the direction of HERNDON-FUQUA FUNERAL HOME of Hope, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Marlbrook Church or American Cancer Society.
