Norma Nell Ward of Hope, Arkansas February 16, 1940 – February 1, 2019 Norma Nell Ward, age 78, of Hope went home to meet her Lord and Savior Friday, February 1, 2019 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born February 16, 1940 in Hope, Arkansas to Norman and Marie Higgenson Taylor. Norma Nell was a member of Unity Baptist Church and Choir, the Good Life Singers, and served as director of Unity Baptist Mini-Choir for 44 years.

She was a volunteer for the Charitable Christian Medical Clinic of Hope and for 25 years with the Unity Baptist Nursing Home Service. She retired as office manager from Lester Oil Company. She is preceded in death by her mother and father; husband, Carl D. Ward; son, Clay Ward; sister, Marian “Pansy” Collins.

Norma Nell is survived by her daughter, Deanna and husband Bob Willis of Hope; one sister, Bobbie Foster of Arlington, TX, numerous nieces and nephews; two grandchildren, Brandon and Ana Willis of Texarkana, TX, Eric and Jessica Willis of Arcadia, NY; and two great-grandchildren, Madelyn Willis and Hunter Willis. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00pm Monday, February 4, 2019 at Unity Baptist Church in Hope, Arkansas with Funeral Service following at 3:00pm. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Bro.
