OBITUARY LaVerne Martin March 17, 1937 – January 30, 2019 LaVerne Martin, 81, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 30th. She was a homemaker and a lunchroom worker at Conway Middle School. LaVerne was a nurturer, attending to strays, both human and not.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Martin; a son, David Martin; and a daughter-in-law, Louise. She is survived by her daughter, Teri Eicher (Danny White); four grandchildren, Dieter Eicher, Sami Corbin, Crystal Williams and Ashley Martin; eight great-grandchildren, Alex, Eric, Tyler, Nakiah, Jessica, Ethan, Sam and Hayden; daughter-in-law, Anna; and her BFF, Pat Hughes. Her funeral will be on Monday at 11am at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt.

Washington. Her visitation will be Sunday from 2pm until 8pm. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Kentucky Humane Society.
