OBITUARY Leonard V. Perry Sr. October 23, 1931 – January 27, 2019 Leonard V. Perry Sr., 87, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019. Leonard and his wife were faithful members of Valley View Church for many years. After he retired from Phillip Morris, he enjoyed traveling.

Florida and Israel were two of his favorite places to visit. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sharon “Sue” Sweeney and son-in-law James Sweeney. Leonard leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 67 years Geneva Perry, children Shirley Daniels, Carol Hickle (Ernie), Leonard Perry Jr. (Sherry) and Randy Perry (Shirley), eight grandchildren, fifteen grandchildren and sister Catherine Goetze (Jim).

A service to honor the life of Leonard will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 at 2pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral home 4400 Bardstown Road with a private burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will begin Friday at 11am until the start of the funeral. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
