Billy Edward “Big Daddy” Cole, 86, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 26, 2019. He was a retired Army Veteran after 22 years of service. He had served in the Korean conflict and the Vietnam war, also a member of the VFW post #5421 and the American Legion Post #1.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis (Dienes) Cole, sisters; Wilma Dancy, Doralee Harvey, and brother, Eugene Cole. He is survived by his sons, Edward (Rosa), Phillip (Laverne), Joseph (Maryjo), Patrick (Lori) and Jerome Cole; daughter, Theresa (Tom) Ragland; brothers, Cleo, Lonnie, Jerome and Donald Cole; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. His funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday January 31, 2019 at Mary Queen of Peace, 4005 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Central Cemetery.
