Obituary for Laverne Rose Maher Laverne Rose Mahr Age 77, of Es, IL passed away Thursday, October 17, 2018 at her home. Born February 28, 1941 in Chicago, IL to the late Walter and Josephine (Malinowski) Swajkoski. She enjoyed crafting and scrapbooking.

Surviving are her husband of fifty years, Richard Mahr, of Es, whom she married September 7, 1968 in Chicago; one son, Rick (Desiree Baldwin) Mahr of East Brooklyn; two grandchildren, Madeline and Samantha Mahr; and close cousin, Rosalee. Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Ronald Swajkoski; and sister, Renaita Karlin. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Memorial visitation will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory, Braidwood, Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 12:00-2:00p.m. with the memorial service beginning at 2:00p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
