Lawrence “Brick” Johnson, 64, of Davenport, passed away Friday February 22, 2019 in Rock Island at his sister’s home. Arrangements are pending at Wheelan Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Lawrence was born on February 12, 1955 in Springfield, IL, the son of Lawrence Johnson and Rosemary Gamble.

Survivors include his father and step mother, Lawrence and Holli (Holtan) Johnson, Moline; children, Nicholas, Janichea and Erica; siblings, Patricia Johnson, Cheryl Harrington, Mark Johnson, Jessica Rains, Michelle Walach, Sammy (Amber) Lewis, Kevin Gamble, Michael (Sara) Mack, Melody Dagget, Gayla Holtan, Donald Holtan, Christopher (Linsey) Holtan; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary; brothers, Lawrence “Jimmie” Johnson, Kenneth “Mack” Johnson and Thomas Gamble.
