Lawrence “Larry” Peter Kalata of Lynn Haven, Florida January 11, 1938 – March 8, 2019 Mr. Larry Peter Kalata, 81, of Lynn Haven, FL, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 in Crestview, FL. He was born in Downers Grove, IL and moved to this area in March of 1962 from Oshkosh, WI. He was the owner of Complete Air Conditioning from 1985 to 2010.

Mr. Kalata was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1956 to 1960. He was a member of the Panama City Amateur Radio Club, Hobie Cat Fleet 120, St. Andrew Bay Yacht Club, Radio Flyer Model Airplane Club, St. Andrew Kiwanis Club and the American Legion. He was an adjunct instructor for 4 yrs.

at Gulf Coast State College teaching air conditioning, heating and refrigeration. Mr. Kalata is preceded in death by his parents, Peter Joseph Kalata and Mildred Hodus Kalata. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kalata; daughters, Coni Kalata, Toni Brannon (Mickey) and Jody Olson (Kurt); sisters, Donna Lee Shaffer (Ned) and Peggy Lynn Vitullo; granddaughters, Millie Doering, Shelley Clark (Billy), Hannah and Claire Olson.

A memorial service will be held on 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Southerland Event Center in Lynn Haven. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to The Humane Center of Bay County, adoptme.org/donate/.
