Obituary of Lawrence Whitnauer Lawrence Quinby “Larry” Whitnauer, 49, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on December 2, 1968, in Charleston, he was a son of the late John L. Whitnauer, Sr. and the late Retha Mae Cribb Whitnauer. Mr. Whitnauer was raised in Rhems Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He was a very skilled carpenter and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his fiancée, Tammy Russell of Georgetown; one sister, Sherrell Whitnauer of Macedonia; two brothers, John Whitnauer (Janice) of Georgetown and Franky Whitnauer (Minnie) of Denmark; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Hewitt and Merrell Casselman; and two brothers, Richard Whitnauer and Jack Whitnauer.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 13, 2018 at Ringel Heights Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgeway Funeral Home, 2918 Highmarket St. Georgetown, SC 29440.
