Lena Marie Risteau, 76 of Central Lake, died November 25, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. She was born May 4, 1942 in Charlevoix, the daughter of Charles and Pauline (Patterson) Alexander. Lena loved her family.

She enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and she loved their family picnics. Lena liked to watch Western TV shows especially those with John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and Tom Selleck. Music by Elvis Presley was her favorite.

Surviving Lena are her children Gay Swan of Central Lake, Pauline “Polly” (Don Bickel) Risteau of Warren, Robert “Bobby” Risteau of Central Lake, step daughter Kathy (Jerry) Cameron of Mancelona, grandchildren David, Samantha, Sara, Lisa, Tina, Dallas, great grandchildren Ryan, Avery, Tabitha, Bella, Shayla, Vance, Amelia, Walker, sister in law Sue Alexander of Grand Rapids and brother in law Jim Risteau of Central Lake. Preceding her in death was her husband Arnold “Sonny” Risteau, her parents, and her later in life partner, Garry Arnold. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 8, at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Central Lake with Pastor Gary Bekkering officiating.
