Obituary for Lenora “Sis” Richard Lenora “Sis” Stucker Richard passed away peacefully on July 6, 2018. She was born July 6, 1928 in Louisville, KY. Sis married the love of her life, Marion, on May 18, 1945 and together they raised seven children in their happy home.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. Sis was an excellent cook and was especially known for her chicken and dumplings. She was even given the name S.O.S., “Sweet Ole Sis”.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Sis is predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Marion G. Richard; her sisters, Florence Jewell, Virgie Churchman, Lurtie Gibson, Ligon Wheeler; and brothers, George, Roy, and Buddy Stucker. She is survived by her seven children, Barbara, Betty (Mike), Jerry (Lynn), Tommy, Marion (Donna), Joy (Jerry), and Steven (Julie); ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Jeremy Richard, Troy Richard, Tommy Richard, Jackson Hamm, Mike Davis; and a great-grandson, Kaleb Tinsley. Visitation will be held on 2–8pm Friday, July 13 at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Drive, Louisville, KY 40214. Funeral Service will be 12 pm Saturday, July 14 with interment immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213.
