Obituary for Erik S. Wolfe Erik Scott Wolfe, 39, beloved husband of Ashley, and cherished father of Lincoln (8), passed away Thursday, June 28th surrounded by loved ones. His life, while cut tragically short, is an inspiration to us all. Erik was born July 27, 1978 in Centralia, IL to proud parents, Tim and Francey Wolfe.
He graduated from Salem Community High School and then went on to graduate with honors from Murray State University. As a devoted husband, father, son, and friend, Erik was the definition of strength and courage. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and was respected and loved by all.
Erik loved football, golf and hunting, but mostly he loved his wife, son, and making memories with family and friends. The legacy that Erik leaves behind will inspire not only those who have known him, but many generations to come. Of sound mind and strong spirit, he left this Earth to be with his Lord and Savior.
Erik is survived, in sorrow, by Ashley and Lincoln; his parents, Tim & Francey Wolfe; his siblings; Andrew, Adam, and Abby; his Grandmother, Jean Lokerse; extended family of the Wolfes, Grahams, and Gattis; and countless friends. Erik was welcomed into Heaven’s gates by Grandparents; Lewis & Clara Wolfe, and Frank Lokerse. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 2:00-8:00 PM EST at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, East Louisville, 12900 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, KY 40243.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, July 3rd at 10:30am at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40243. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please make donations to Baptist East Foundation Paducah Cancer Center, 2501 Kentucky Ave. , Paducah, KY 42001.
