Leo Daniel Potter was born July 15, 1945 in Flat Rock, Oklahoma to Noah and Esther (Hardey) Potter. He passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma May 23, 2018 at the age of 72. Leo was a loving father, grandfather, great- grandfather, and friend to many.

He enjoyed working hard, playing harder, fishing with lots of bait, John Wayne, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Leo was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 41 years, Frances Mae (Warden) Potter; brothers, Charles Wayman Potter and Bobby Joe Potter, brothers-in-law, Neal Warden, and Charlie Mefferd. Survivors include his children, Julie Scheiper and husband Tony of Tulsa, Danny Potter and wife Janet of Agra, Timmy Potter and wife Angie of Tryon; (8) grandchildren, Jenifer, Justine, Danny, Jr., Darrell, Dillon, Ashley, T.J., Erica; (5) great-grandchildren, Kayton, Blake, Briar, Conner, Denver; siblings, Buddy Potter, Debby Potter both of Stockton, California, Darrell Potter of Holdenville; many other family and friends.

A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the White Dove Cemetery in Sparks. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
