Leona Bonner Taylor, 100, of Quinlan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Quinlan. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Ingram Funeral Home with Jerry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Forest Grove Cemetery in Telephone, Texas.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Serving as Pallbearers: Chris Taylor, Terry Taylor Jr., Travis Brown, Shawn Poole, Timmy Brown and Justin Poole. Leona was born on July 31, 1918 in Honey Grove, Texas.

She is the daughter of the late Paul and Minnie Bonner. Leona married Thomas Taylor who was the ‘love’ of her life. They enjoyed their life together until Thomas’ passing on October 13, 1979.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter Kathie Clemons; sons Larry, Marvin, and Johnny Taylor; son-in-law Curtis Clemons; brothers Leonard, Albert, Luther, Homer, George & Oscar Bonner; sisters Estelle White, Mildred Dees and Mattie Lou Taylor; grandchildren Christine Clemons, Kevin Taylor & Jessica Ross; great-grandchildren Markham Taylor, Tony Clemons Jr. & great-great-grandson Liam Hawkins. She was a homemaker and a beautiful seamstress. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, and working in her garden.

She played 42 & Dice with exuberance. She was a woman of Faith and never met a stranger. Leona loved her family more than anything in the world.

She is loved and will be missed by her sons Billy Taylor & wife Sharon, Terry Taylor & wife Linda, Tommy Taylor & wife Jackie and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
