Obituary of Leon Tinker Ashtabula- Leon R. Tinker, Sr., 95, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home. He was born on September 16, 1923 in Kingsville, Ohio the beloved son of Laurel and Elfie (Quickel) Tinker. Leon enjoyed gardening and was always proud of the tomatoes he grew.

Mr. Tinker is survived by his son, Leon (Tameleen) Tinker, Jr.; daughter, Shelley Andrus; brothers, Richard (Marie) Tinker and Harold Tinker; sister-in-law, Louise Tinker; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn R. Diehl Tinker; sister, Doris Rapatin; and brothers, Kenneth Tinker and Richard Tinker. Calling hours will be held, Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 12PM-1PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, where services will follow at 1:00PM.
