Obituary for Leslie Ann Haley Leslie Ann Haley, 65, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Norton Women and Children’s Hospital. She was born December 30, 1952 in Louisville to the late Leslie R. Kaufman and Dorothy M. Carrico Kaufman. Ann was a graduate of Fern Creek High School she loved the community and only twice moved away to return again.

Ann loved to shop, she had a golden heart and never failed to give to someone in need. If you needed it she would give you the shirt off her back; or better yet take you shopping and buy multiple colors of the same shirt for each of you. Motown may have been Ann’s favorite music, but she had been seen through the decades swinging and twirling to just about anything playing.

Her family believes she had always held aspirations of being on American Bandstand and meeting Dick Clark. Murder Mysteries were a favorite read for Ann. Probably her favorite author was fellow Louisvillian Sue Grafton who recently passed away as well.

One can only imagine the fan-girling happening in heaven at this moment or maybe a collaboration. Murder She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder and other like shows were a constant at Ann’s home, but none will ever compare to the love she held for NCIS and Mark Harmon. She had on several occasions been caught by family members quoting Gibbs Rules at them.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Kaufman; niece, Tasha Kaufman and her two beloved Pomeranians, Pocco and Pookie who were often hand fed McDonald hamburgers by their loving mother. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 45 years, Glenn Haley who she would stalk with her youngest sister when she got her license; two children, Todd Haley (Meghan), Missy Tarter (Jason); two grandchildren, Kelsey Vincent and Maycee Tarter and two sisters, Brenda Chancellor and Pam Hall (Steve) and her mother in law Elbirda Haley. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville.

Entombment will take place in Resthaven Memorial Park. Please visit www. RattermanBrothers.com for further obituary information.
