Obituary for Susan Marie Pomeroy Susan Marie Pomeroy, 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 2, 2018, with family by her side. She married her high school sweetheart, Donald Pomeroy in 1974. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, and attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Sue always put others before herself and lived with great love and passion for gardening, the outdoors and being a Mimi to her seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Dasch, and mother, Pauline Dasch. Sue will forever live on through her husband of 43 years, Donald Pomeroy, her children, Sarah Sanders (Jason), Christopher Pomeroy (Jill), and Ryan Pomeroy, her brother, Larry Dasch and sister, Carol Nickol (Jon).

Also left to cherish her memory are her seven grandchildren, Carson, Will, Emma, and Kate Sanders, Kerigan, Kellan, and Campbell Pomeroy. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 2-8pm at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
