Obituary for Lorene “Lorie” Cherol Beavin Lorene “Lorie” Cherol Beavin, 67 entered eternal life on Friday June 1, 2018. Her life reflected the spiritual and family values instilled by her loving parents, Jim and Dolly Cherol (deceased). As the oldest of five, Lorie shared these values with her whole family, especially with her cherished daughter, Jennifer Beavin D.M.D. Lorie graduated from Assumption High School in 1968 where she formed lasting friendships.

She earned a M.B.A. from Bellarmine University. Lorie served in many leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer in Jefferson County Clerk’s Office from 1990-1998 with dear friend, Rebecca Jackson, Jefferson County Deputy County Judge 1999-2002, and retired from Norton Healthcare in 2011. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by sisters, Beth Biermann , Marty Metcalfe (Darrell), Cathy Avery (Gene); brother, Michael Cherol (Karen Jordan); nephews, Chris Biermann (Glenda), Brian Biermann (Brittany), Ryan Loveall, Kyle Jordan (Elizabeth); nieces, Sydney Avery and Kelsey Anderson (Robert), and extended family and lifelong friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Monday June 4, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church 3705 Stone Creek Dr. with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5pm Sunday June 3, 2018 at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home East Louisville 12900 Shelbyville Rd.
