Obituary of Letizia Walden Letizia “Liz” Walden, 51, of 130 Glenwood Ave. Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly at 6:07 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2019, in her home. Liz was born September 17, 1967 in Termini Imerese, Sicily, Italy, the daughter of Josephine Pintagro Conti and the late Francesco G. “Frank” Conti.

She was a 1985 graduate of Jamestown High School and in earlier years had worked for several businesses including the former Lexington Die Cast in Lakewood, NY. For the past several years she enjoyed doing crafts at the Taft Center, Chautauqua Adult Day Care. Surviving are her mother, Josephine Conti of Jamestown, her husband, Daniel R. Walden whom she married July 15, 1989, her two children; Rylea Walden of Jamestown, Tyler Walden of Berlin, Germany and her sister, Roseann Yezzi of Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her father Francesco G. “Frank” Conti who died February 28, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev.

Darrell G. Duffy, pastor will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home where a Christian Wake Service will be led at 6:45 p.m. Monday.
