Obituary of Roxanne Cady Roxanne Cady, 64, of 6093 Niobe Rd. Panama, NY, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, in UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA. A lifelong area resident, she was born July 31, 1954 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Frederick and Betty J. Sandstrom Sweeney.

She was a graduate of Panama Central School. Before her retirement, she was employed by the East Side Liquor Store and had previously worked as a receptionist for the Private Industry Council. Surviving is her husband, James M. Cady whom she married July 5, 2000, a daughter; Amy (Rob Deponceau) Parker of Pelion, SC, 4 step-children; James Cady, Jr., Christopher (Becky) Cady, Kelly (Allan) Briggs, Gregory Jon Comstock, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Besides her father who died January 3, 2001 and her mother who died March 10, 2013, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cherry L. Potter who died August 8, 2014. The funeral will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor David Bush of the Siloam Fellowship, Frewsburg, NY will officiate.

Burial will be in the Grant Cemetery, Niobe, NY. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Panama Fire Department, 27 Main St., Panama, NY 14767.
