Obituary of Sheryll A. Almquist Sheryll A. Almquist, 61, of 110 Wilton Avenue, died Tuesday March 26, 2019, in her home. A Jamestown resident all of her life, she was born April 12, 1957, a daughter of Jerome and Vivian West Thompson. She was a 1975 graduate of Jamestown High School and completed training at Jamestown Community College to become a nurse’s aide.

She was the mom to all the kids in the neighborhood. Surviving besides her parents of Jamestown is her husband Mark Almquist, whom she married February 3, 1979; three children Andrew Almquist of Jamestown, Betheny Almquist of Warren, PA and Joshua Almquist of Jamestown and six grandchildren Kyle Campbell, Brooke Almquist, Joshua Sheckler, Jr., Ashton Almquist, Abigail Sheckler and Everly Zuck. She was preceded in death by a sister Beverly Parish.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service Saturday in the funeral home.
