Obituary of John R. Geraci John R. Geraci, Sr., 92, formerly of 514 Stowe St. in Jamestown, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing. He was the husband of Beverly Burnett Geraci whom he married January 2, 1954 and who died February 5, 2013. A lifelong area resident, John was born March 17, 1927 in Jamestown, the son of the late Angelo and Mary La Marca Geraci, and was a graduate of Jamestown High School.

In earlier years, he worked as a sprayer in the auto body trade and later retired as a sprayer from Watson Manufacturing. John enjoyed bowling throughout his life and was an avid New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan. Surviving are a son, John R. Geraci, Jr. and daughter, Judy (William) Mohney, both of Jamestown; three grandchildren, Melissa Geraci of Jamestown, David Geraci of Texas and Mary Mohney of Jamestown; and two great-grandsons, Julian Hasson and Isaac Ahlquist of Jamestown.

In addition to his wife, Beverly, he was preceded in death by a grandson, John R. Geraci III who died September 26, 2016; and three sisters, Irene Dispenza, Laura Clement and Joyce Bonfiglio. Visitation and services will not be observed. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
