Levonia L. Pye, 83, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, January 24, 2019, at her home. Born November 12, 1935, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Lee Vaughn Henderson and Ruby Mae Gore Henderson. She was married for 61 years to the late Herbert Lee Pye Sr

Mrs. Pye retired from Sparkle City Laundromat after 30 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughters, Mary Ann Donnahoo, Ruby Lynn Presnell, Teresa Ann Brandt, and Wendy J. Peterson; 12 grandchildren; sister, Myranda Pye; and brother, Ray Henderson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by sons, Allen Lee Lawter and Herbert Lee Pye Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
