On April 27th, 2018. Lida H. Smith passed away. She was the loving wife of Walton “Bud” Smith; devoted mother of Kevin Herbert and his wife Cyndi, Sandra McNaney and her husband John, Michelle Forgen and her husband Matthew; and Patricia Wheeler and her husband William; cherished grandmother of Samantha, Matthew, Zachery, Jessica, Ryan, Brandon,Taylor, Kenneth, and Nicholas; and dear sister of Patsy Lathan.

Family and friends may call at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd. , Arbutus on Tuesday, May 1st from 3 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held at Arbutus United Methodist Church, 1201 Maple Avenue on Wednesday, May 2nd at 11 AM.

A repast will immediately follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lida’s name to the Arbutus United Methodist Church or Gilchrist Hospice. Donations may be made to: Gilchrist Hospice Care, Howard County 5537 Twin Knolls Rd.
