Lilla Ruth Banks, 94, a resident of Pascagoula, MS passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Neshoba Baptist Church in Neshoba, MS with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1-2 pm at the church.

Mrs. Banks was a native of Burns, MS. She was the daughter of Seno Burns and Mittie Lou Tadlock Burns. She was married to Jack Washinton Banks.

Mrs. Banks enjoyed making a home for her family, working in her flower beds and reading. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She was loved by all and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Washington Banks; son, Percy Glen Banks; parents, Seno Burns and Mittie Lou Tadlock Burns; sisters, Annie Laura Burns Harrell, Mary Burns Lyle, Beulah Burns Thomas and Kattie Lee Burns; brothers, Vernon Burns, Albert “Bud” Burns, Cefus “Roy” Burns, Ufa Seno Burns and Paul Allen Burns. Mrs. Banks is survived by her son, Jerry Burns (Linda) Banks, grandchildren, Grant Austin (Ellie) Banks and Burt Seay Banks; great grandchild, Logan Xavier Banks; brother, Edwin Earl Burns, many nieces, nephews, special loving neighbors, Ed and Alice and Ann Scranton and a host of friends. Memorial may be made to a charity of your choice.
